Te Puia Springs (Ocean Beach)
Dig your own spot and relax in the hot pools at low tide, or wander along 10kms of pristine ocean beach. The Te Puia Springs are a short drive from the hotel and a brisk walk to the seaside.
Beach towels and your own spade can be hired from Reception.
Museum
The Kawhia Regional Museum, Gallery and Information Centre will step you back in time, to the history of Kawhia and its surrounding areas. The collections on display will give you a deep insight to the area and the treasures that have been found within the district.

Aotea Beach
5kms north of Kawhia, wander along the black sands of Aotea Beach and take in the vista of the dunes. You can also try your luck fishing off the beach.
